In one month, I will be in SPAIN! It's crazy to think that I started this whole journey 2 years ago..and all the planning, homework, and preparation is over..and the adventure is about to begin! My passport got here in the mail today, and it made everything so much more real. This is crazy...just crazy.
Galleria was a huge success! My CT said that it was the smoothest running Galleria that he's seen yet! The kids had a blast; my parents and my supervisor were able to make it, too, and that was extra special for the kids. I can tell that those 3rd graders learned a lot from the project. They worked very, very hard on their businesses and it paid off. If the school I end up working in doesn't have anything like this in place, I would definitely consider starting it.
This last week we started fractions. This week brings adding and subtracting fractions, and I'll admit that I'm a bit nervous about that. I've seen a lot of students get very frustrated with fractions in general-including myself-so I know that it could be a struggle. I'm trying to stay positive, though, and hope for the best.
I said this already, but I'm just amazed at how fast the time has gone by. I can't believe that It's already February 18. In less than a month, I'll be on a plane to Espana!
